"Pioneer Girl" is me as a child, frozen between earth and sky. This girl with a cloud for a face was born from memories of that moment when, at ten years old, I first crossed the threshold of an art studio. Then my face dissolved in a fog of possibilities, while my body remained firmly planted on the ground — like a pioneer ready for a journey into the unknown. The cloud passes through her, making visible what is usually hidden: the moment of a child's transformation into an artist.
Bronze here is no accident — it's a material of eternity, capable of holding the ephemerality of a cloud. The patina creates a play of light and shadow, as if the girl is constantly moving between worlds. She is simultaneously a monument to Soviet childhood and a portal to the infinity of creativity. At Divot restaurant, where flesh becomes the art of gastronomy, my "Pioneer Girl" reminds us: we were all once pure potential, ready to dissolve into our dreams.
If this work resonates in your heart and you wish it to become part of your space, we can discuss the details of acquisition personally.
